Start a relationship with Jesus

Jesus claimed to be God. He proved it through His words, His works, and His love.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)”
(Ephesians 2:4–5)
Our sin separates us from God both presently and eternally and requires the payment of eternal death. Yet, Jesus, who is God, gave up His life, and died in your place. You cannot and do not have to pay for your own sins!
“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,” (1 Corinthians 15:3–4) “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” (Romans 3:23) “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

“He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” (John 3:36) “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except though Me.'” (John 14:6)
A personal relationship with God and eternal life can only be accepted—never earned. You can only accept the free gift of God that He is offering through faith in Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Having a relationship with God on earth, and ultimately a home in Heaven for eternity is not about being religious or good. It is about faith—trust. Everyone is trusting something. The theme of the Bible is that Jesus is the only source of truth, hope, forgiveness, and eternal life in Heaven. You start a relationship with God the moment you ask Jesus to be your Saviour. He will forgive you of your sin & give you the gift of eternal life. You can make that decision today by praying to God from your heart asking to receive the free gift of eternal life.
